In addition to completing their summer reading and workouts, the lady Huskies are keeping busy on and off the ice.
Cassie K and Brennan B competed in a tournament in Burlington in June. Their team lost in the finals, but the girls competed hard. Hailey S, Gaby P, Jess B, Erin B and incoming sophomore Maci H competed at RinkSport camp where they competed hard against each other in front of numerous college coaches. Three Huskies, Erin K, Maci H, and Cailey H also competed at National Camp in St Cloud, MN and a majority of the team will compete at the Beantown tournament this weekend.
Off the ice, Julie D is hitting big in her summer softball tournaments and camps. Erin B is hard at work at her family deli on Long Island while Serena M is working the farm in Ithaca, NY. In Hotlanta, GA, Erin K is keeping cool by wakeboarding while Sophie G is canoeing in northern Canada.
The girls are also busy earning quarters for each day they work hard on or off the ice. The four summer training teams will bring their quarters this fall when we return to campus to see which team earned the most.
